Biography
Kristine Bengtson is a collaborative pianist, vocal coach, conductor and teacher based in Madison, Wisconsin. Performances include collaborative artist at the River Arts on Water Gallery in Sauk Prairie, Heritage Congregational Church Concert Series, guest artist with the Philharmonic Chorus of Madison, and soloist with the Edgewood Chamber Orchestra.
Ms. Bengtson has performed as a collaborative artist for the Schumann Liederfest in Zwickau, Germany, coaching and performing for the festival seasons. Additional credits include Fort Worth Opera, Augusta Opera, Madison Opera, Peachtree Modern Opera, Des Moines Metro Opera, Harrower Opera Worship at Georgia State University and the Vocal Arts Festival at the University of South Dakota.
At home in Madison she teaches piano and voice at Madison Country Day School and maintains a busy private studio at home.
Ms. Bengtson is a member of the Music Teachers’ National Association. She holds a Doctorate of Musical Arts Degree in Collaborative Piano from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Master’s Degrees in vocal coaching and piano performance from Temple University in Philadelphia and the University of South Florida in Tampa.
